Located in the East New York neighborhood of Brooklyn, the Fiorentino Plaza development is comprised of 160 units spread across 8 buildings. The Boulevard Together team will be carrying out upgrades at the property in the second quarter of 2022.
Proposed Work
As a part of the rehabilitation process, the Fiorentino Plaza apartments, buildings, and site will undergo modernization and upgrades. Highlights of the work being performed listed below.
Apartment Renovation
All 160 apartments at Fiorentino Plaza to receive new kitchens, new bathrooms, and a refresh throughout the balance of the spaces.
Common Area and Amenities
Refurbishing common areas including entrance lobbies, hallways, and providing centrally located laundry and storage rooms for the development.
Building Envelope
Improvements include new windows, new roof, and façade repairs.
UFAS Units
Providing mobility and sensory impaired units across the portfolio.
Security Measures
Installing new intercoms in apartments and at building entrances, along with increased security cameras throughout the campus. Please click here. for security contact information.
Site Improvements
Providing new active and passive recreation spaces for residents including play areas and chess tables.
Waste Management
Eliminating curbside pickup and implementing a containerized solution as a part of the waste management program.
Sustainability Measures
Implementing measures to improve the sustainable performance of buildings, including new fixtures, fittings, and system replacement.
Environmental
Creating a safe building for residents by performing environmental review and testing, along with remediation and stabilization work as required.
